Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Arrive at Guwahati and begin your journey towards the Himalayan foothills of Arunachal Pradesh
- Drive through the scenic landscapes of Assam and the Brahmaputra valley
- Complete entry formalities at Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh
- Continue into the forested Himalayan foothills and check in
Overnight: Bhalukpong
- Drive towards Dirang through the Sessa forest landscapes, waterfalls and mountain streams
- Pass traditional Arunachali villages with sweeping Himalayan mountain views
- Dirang sightseeing: Dirang Dzong, Dirang Monastery and the local market
- Hot water springs visit, subject to time
- Evening at leisure in the peaceful mountain environment
Overnight: Dirang
- Early breakfast and departure towards Tawang across the dramatic Sela Pass, subject to weather and road conditions
- Sela Pass — one of the most famous high-altitude mountain passes in Arunachal Pradesh
- Sela Lake — a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by rugged mountains
- Jaswant Garh War Memorial — pay tribute to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat
- Continue through spectacular Himalayan landscapes and check in at Tawang
Overnight: Tawang
- Tawang Monastery — one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India and an important centre of Mahayana Buddhism
- Tawang War Memorial honouring Indian soldiers of the 1962 Sino-Indian War
- Urgelling Monastery, associated with the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama
- Bap Teng Kang Waterfall, subject to accessibility
- Evening at the local market experiencing Tawang's distinctive mountain culture
Overnight: Tawang
- Return journey through spectacular Himalayan terrain, valleys and mountain villages
- Forest landscapes and panoramic viewpoints en route
- Bomdila sightseeing: Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point and the local market
- Evening in the peaceful atmosphere of this Himalayan town surrounded by forests and snow-capped peaks
Overnight: Bomdila
- Descend from the Himalayan foothills towards Assam
- Agnigarh — a historic hilltop associated with Assamese mythology, with views over the Brahmaputra
- Bamuni Hills — remains of ancient stone sculptures and archaeological heritage
- Cole Park — a peaceful green space in the heart of Tezpur
- Evening at leisure
Overnight: Tezpur
- After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Guwahati
- Optional visit, depending on departure schedule: Kamakhya Temple — one of India's most important Shakti Peethas and one of Assam's most significant pilgrimage sites
- Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey
- Tour concludes in Guwahati

- Accommodation: 6 nights accommodation — 1 night Bhalukpong, 1 night Dirang, 2 nights Tawang, 1 night Bomdila and 1 night Tezpur, in well-rated hotels and mountain lodges.
- Transportation: Vehicle suited to Himalayan terrain for all transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary, from Guwahati arrival to Guwahati departure.

- Guides: Experienced driver-guide familiar with the Tawang circuit; local guides can be arranged on request.
